UIZE JavaScript Framework

2009 NEWS 2009-03-26 - GENERAL IMPROVEMENT: Reduced Global Pollution

Various framework-specific identifiers that were polluting the global namespace have been eliminated.

The Uize base class used to define the global function Uize_globalEval, and the global object constructor RootClass. The Uize.Node module used to define the global functions Uize_Node_makeGenericHandlerCaller, Uize_Node_makeOnmouseoverHandlerCaller, Uize_Node_makeOnmouseoutHandlerCaller, Uize_Node_returnFalse, Uize_Node_returnTrue , which were all differently named as Uize_Node_a through Uize_Node_e with scrunched / production code. The Uize.Comm.Ajax module used to defined the global function Uize_Comm_Ajax_doNothing. All of these globals have been eliminated and tucked neatly into their respective modules, leaving the only intrusion into the global namespace being the Uize base class / namespace.
