2009 NEWS 2009-01-19 - IMPROVED MODULE: Uize.Widget.ImageWipe

The Uize.Widget.ImageWipe widget class has been improved in a number of ways.

1. Wipe Presets Have Migrated

Wipe effect presets have been migrated from the Uize.Widget.ImageWipe module into the new Uize.Widget.ImageWipe.xPresets extension module.

This reduces the code size of the Uize.Widget.ImageWipe module and reduces page load for applications that don't need to use the entire set of wipe presets. An implication of this change is that you may need to require the Uize.Widget.ImageWipe.xPresets module in pages that were previously relying on the Uize.Widget.ImageWipe.presets static property being defined in the Uize.Widget.ImageWipe module. Wipe presets are still accessible from the Uize.Widget.ImageWipe.presets static property, but this property is now no longer defined in the Uize.Widget.ImageWipe module, but rather in the Uize.Widget.ImageWipe.xPresets extension.

2. Bug Fixes

The following bugs have been fixed...

a bug with handling of the dissolve state property that was causing opacity of panes to get left in a bad state when interrupting a fade with dissolve and initiating a fade without dissolve
a bug with handling of the allToFull state property that was causing crud to be left on the right and bottom edges as a result of the previous image showing through because of an off-by-one error in calculation
